• Sole on-site IT lead across multiple Texas locations. Design, deploy and maintain infrastructure, security systems, and business applications.
• Deployed and manage Ubiquiti UniFi across sites — UDM, switching, access points, Protect and Access — with VLAN segmentation, site-to-site VPN, firewall policy and wireless design.
• Oversaw migration of 60+ cameras from a legacy NVR platform to UniFi Protect, and deployed Starlink for remote and emergency site connectivity.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID — user lifecycle, SharePoint architecture and intranet, Power Automate workflows, and Graph API integrations running unattended.
• Built a search tool over our equipment manual library that answers technician questions and shows the exact manual page each answer came from (see case study).
• Built an application that automates a manual engineering calculation used in sales and produces finished customer reports (see case study).
• Built a document management system to replace a paid product — handles documents arriving four different ways, reads scanned ones, and keeps a permanent record of changes (see case study).
• Built a lightning detection system that sets off the site alarms so crews get off the equipment, running continuously on a Linux server and verified in real conditions.
• Built gate control for the yard that drives the relay hardware directly, confirms the relay actually fired before reporting success, and monitors the solar supply powering it.
• Implemented Freshdesk for ticketing and asset tracking with custom dashboards; deployed UKG timeclock kiosks across nine locations.
• Automated monthly fleet reporting from our GPS tracking — usage, yard time, fault codes and safety events, delivered as per-vehicle PDF reports.

Computer Technician

• Sole technician supporting four elementary campuses — approximately 1,900 students and 160 staff.
• Managed a ~2,000-device Chromebook rollout including enrollment, cart wiring and lifecycle.
• Administered Active Directory and Google Workspace; managed users, devices and email.
• Built and maintained imaging with PDQ Deploy and Lite Touch; documented processes in a team knowledge base.
• Supported the Promethean ActivPanel rollout and delivered ongoing teacher training.
